Another Beginning
On this date, March 24, in the year 2001, I started my LiveJournal account. I'm being told that LiveJournal is dying, and well, that's not exactly news. Many people have abandoned it.
a community on LJ has a mirrored community here on dreamwidth, and that inspired me to grab my username here and see if doing posts on this service is worthwhile.
It's kind of amazing how different things are 11 years on. A lot of the people writing in blogs now were in grade school then. And of course all of the events and history that has taken place during this decade and a year.
I'll be honest; I don't know what I'm going to do with this dreamwidth account. Likely not very much. It's more likely I'll use my tumblr or flickr accounts more often than this one. But, like my WordPress account and my Blogger account (formed during those desparate days of LJ strikethrough) it's another potential outlet if I need another outlet.
I do still have a ton of stuff on LJ and I still plan to keep that going. so if you come across me here, maybe you'll find me there.
