I thought about McHale's Navy - where Captain Binghamton represented the United States public and McHale and his crew were the incoming administration. But the facts were, they weren't incompetent. In fact, they were actually better than competent because they were doing their jobs AND running their poker games and throwing parties without the Captain ever really being able to pin them down.

But I rejected it because the theme of the show was to admire McHale and his sailors for breaking the rules and tricking the Captain.

I am willing to give this a chance but based on the first Press Conference, I really don't know where we're going!
