Well, I finally did get around to joining DW but my transfer didn't work, so now it will take me another long time to do what I have to do to get it to work. Something about using an old LJ format and having to turn on some button to change that? I dunno, just not terribly motivated to figure it out.

Meanwhile, I'm not sure what the point would be in deleting your entire journal. Maybe add more security/privacy, archive it elsewhere and/or move on to something (if it exists), but why destroy the original real deal? You created a unique space here that served you and your readers well for a long time. Although the lights may go out on LJ, why not leave them lit (even if dimly) in your little corner of it?
