A Beginning
Mar. 24th, 2001 01:33 amSo, I'm about to be a published author. It's kind of exciting, and yet it still doesn't feel quite real.
"The Isolation Generation" is the book. It's a pop culture critiqué... more humorous than scathing, more thought provoking than undeniable fact, it seeks to shed a bit of light and maybe some heat on its topic.
The concept of the book is to expose the generation that is neither Baby Boomers nor Gen X'ers... they are between the two. I call this group "Space-Agers," born after the launch of the Russian satellite Sputnik I on October 4, 1957.
This journal is going to track the story of my story... what happens to the book and to me as it is due to be released... sometime in the next six weeks!
Feel free to ask me questions, I'll try my best to answer whatever ones you have. I hope you'll find the accounts of this adventure enjoyable! I'll try to keep you entertained.
